What we collect when you ask for a price

The Instant Quote and contact forms collect what is needed to price and arrange the work: your name, phone number, email (optional), the property address and postcode, your answers about the job, any photos you add, and your notes. We also record the page you came from, your screen size and a hashed form of your IP address for spam prevention.

How we use it

To produce your indicative estimate, to pass the brief to the decorator who will price and carry out the work, to contact you about it, and to keep a record of the enquiry. Enquiries may be handled through a painting network we work with; see our referral disclosure. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it

Unconverted enquiries and their photos are deleted after 24 months. Test submissions are deleted after 30 days. Records of work carried out are kept for as long as accounting law requires.

Cookies and call tracking

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If you allow it in the cookie choice, a call-tracking script (WhatConverts) loads so we can see which pages lead to calls and messages; it sets cookies for that purpose. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie choices" in the footer. The Instant Quote saves your answers in your own browser (localStorage) so you can come back to them; nothing is sent until you submit.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing, by emailing info@lewishampainters.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
